Having merged his knowledge in marketing communications and advertising with an entrepreneur spirit, Özgür Poyrazoğlu successfully completed ICF accredited Gestalt Coaching Program by Gestalt Coaching Center to become a coach. Having also received team coaching and facilitation trainings by taking Deep Democracy courses, Özgür works with leaders and teams to increase their awareness with the ultimate goal to raise creative entrepreneur individuals and teams with high communicative skills.
Özgür delivers individual and organizational coaching services under the umbrella of Paramita Partners which he cofounded in 2020. In addition to his coaching activities for organizations such as Nutricia, Danone, Temsa, Eczacıbaşı Vitra, Merck and Cisco, he is also the cofounder of Soda* Istanbul – a full service agency in digital world. Özgür continues to provide creative solutions in communication, marketing and content domains and also to deliver consultancy services for many global brands at Soda* for the last 15 years with premium clients like Arçelik, Turkcell, Siemens, Atos, Yandex, TEB, Sanko, Doğan Grubu, Sütaş, Akbank, Eczacıbaşı, İnnova and Google to name just a few.
Following his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Communication, Istanbul University, Özgür also went on to study his Master’s Degree at the Faculty of Communication, Marmara University. He also received an MBA degree from Istanbul Commerce University with his thesis “A Research on the Organizational Cultures of Turkish Web Companies” from 2005 to 2007. And finally, he also received undergraduate education in photography at Anadolu University.
With his foot in internet technologies, marketing communications and entrepreneurship for around twenty five years, Özgür has always been involved in many ventures in his career during which he has created various new products, publications and teams. Among his highly acclaimed projects are Sinema.com, Tedarik.com, Hayhuy.com and Kipitap Publishing House. He is also one of the first Turkish bloggers and social media influencers – Klaket.com and acclaimed fatherhood blog Babaolmak.com are the blogs he has created. In 2005, Özgür Poyrazoğlu received International Project Management certificate and PMP title. He also took active roles in the activities of Istanbul Project Management Association (IPYD) in and elected to the Board of the same Association in 2007 to seize the opportunity to work with the doyens of the industry.
He is a semiprofessional photographer and likes to travel with a campervan. He writes travel articles for national papers. He is a member of ICF, ICF Turkey, IPYD and Montessori Association. Özgür has two children born in 2007 and 2014 respectively.
Özgür Poyrazoğlu can deliver coaching both in Turkish and English, and he has an ACC Certification.
